Cavanagh Hooper Dolan insurances tasked Roxy Digital with the evaluation of their current brand presence and customer experience. Together, we embarked on an extensive journey that spanned project planning, user mapping and a detailed design sprint to identify the needs of their customers and how the brand could meet them.

Identifying a Need and Leading the Charge

 

The Team from Cavanagh Hooper Dolan Insurances identified a number of problem areas that they wished to improve. The primary mission was to improve communication with their customers, capturing their attention in a matter of seconds and successfully conveying the brands core message, whilst maintaining a personal experience throughout the digital landscape. Not only did they want to connect with their customers, but they wanted to take the lead in the insurance industry, leading the way for customer experience with visual design and intuitive navigation, underpinned by exceptional customer service.

Objectives

 

To ensure smooth delivery of the project, we identified three clear objectives that would align the team and maintain clarity throughout.

1. Creating a seamless and streamlined user experience

It was clear that this objective would help Cavanagh Hooper Dolan Insurances stand out from the competition and legacy websites that have become the standard template for the insurance industry. With the customer at the centre of the digital experience, each step of the way was tailored to ensure a consistent, streamlined experience.

2. Online payment workflow
Payment facilities on websites can often be clunky or simply none existent, creating a clearly, easy to follow payment workflow became an essential element to offering an enhanced customer experience.

Together, we implemented a plan and a process that would make a difference to their customers. At the centre was the design of a new website with a solution orientated approach and a platform that enabled the creation of a user experience that worked for their customers.

The Online Experience

 

Deciding the platform was only the first stage, next came the online experience that customers would soon discover. We developed the style that the website would have, considering everything from the tone of the content, the colour scheme, considering gradients and fonts – every aspect that would impact upon the customer experience. By doing this, we were able to bring it all together into a unique flavour that made it a one of a kind design and solution for the brand.
